Note on Husband: Charles Edward AXTELL

b. July 19, 1860 at Genoa, DeKalb Co., Ill., married Jan. 31, 1883, Frances

Boorman at Burlington, Ia., the place of her birth. At various times he lived

at Harmony, Ill., Courtland, Lincoln and Hastings, Nebr., Bellflower, Calif.,

and at the present time living at Ingham, Nebr. He moved to Cortland in 1884

and to Ingham in 1914. His earlier life was that of a traveling salesman, but

during the last 15 years has been interested in the production and marketing

of domestic pumice stone. While retired from active business still retains

his interest in business. His wife died March 7, 1933.
