Note on Husband: John Lynn AXTELL

b. 1847, married Katherine Dunn (b. Feb. 4, 1847) Sept. 30, 1865. He was

blacksmith in Sheakleyville, Pa., where he lived for 17 years, and where all

his children were born. He moved to Cochranton, Pa., and there made his home

until after the death of his wife in Feb. 1897. About five years later, he

married (2) a Mrs. Murrey and later moved to Conneaut, Ohio, where he lived

until his death. He had a blacksmith shop at both Sheakleyville and

Cochranton.
