b. Dec. 19, 1832, m. Sarah Shadow in 1853, occupation, farmer. He went to

Kansas in the early days, lived at Madison, Harris, and Mont Ida.

Religiously, a Dunkard. By nature, quiet, reserved, but jolly and full of

humor. He died Aug. 2, 1903, and was buried at Mont Ida, Kansas. Sarah died

April 5, 1898.
