Civil War, enrolled on November 20, 1863 in Co. D, 92nd Reg, Ohio Vol. and transferred to Co. C, 31st Reg of Vet. Vol. of Ohio on June 10, 1865. Served as a private was honorably discharged at Louisville, KY on July 20, 1865

 

Committed suicide by cutting his throat. His death certificate was not recorded until July 7, 1907.
