b. Oct. 7, 1825 at Belgrade, Me., moved to Kenosha, Wis., m. Feb. 2, 1858,

Martha Blanchard (b. April 12, 1835 at Waukegan, Ill.), she was the daughter

of Philip and Sarah Blanchard. He took up land near Ogdensburg, Wis., he was

an honest hard working man, a farmer and a Baptist, he served in the 74th

Wis. during the Civil War. He died June 30, 1898 and was buried at Waupaca,

Wis.
