b. April 17, 1792, in Mercer Co., Pa.; married Eunice Tuthill (Tuttle) Sept. 2, 1813 (b. Jan. 30, 1789). She died Sept. 13, 1820. He married (2) Elizabeth Condit (b. Oct. 26, 1802) on June 7, 1821; she was the daughter of Ezekiel Condit. She died Nov. 12, 1852. Joseph was a farmer, an Elder in the Prebyterian Church, a soldier in the War of 1812. He died May 12, 1851, while moving to Ill.; he was buried in Fairfield Cemetery, Mercer Co., Pa. [axb45.ged]
