Note on Husband: James AXTELL

Could have an alternative birth place of Ricksmanworth, Hertfordshire. A James Axtell born around 1781 is listed in the 1841 and and 1851 censuses. The 1841 census has him in Maidstone Kent, but not of the county. The 1851 census has him with a wife Eleanora aged 60 [1791] who was from Bistol, Somerset at 4 Williams Folly, Windsor, Berkshire. He was a labourer, she a laundress. In the 1851 census, he is listed with his wife Susan aged 60 [1781] who is not from Kent, and Eliza 25yr [1816], Henry 20yr [1821], Letitia 18yr [1823], Ann 15yr [1826], and George 1month [1841] who were all born in Kent. James, Eliza, Henry and Letitia are listed as working with paper?. For now, the two possible James are entered seperately. [Jon Axtell]

Note on Wife: Eleanora

NOTES: Not confirmed as James' wife. Taken from 1851 census where a James Axtell born in 1781 at Rickmanworth, not Surrey, is listed as living in Windsor, Berkshire. Eleanora is from Bristol, Somerset.
